This piece holds a special place in my heart—it was the first artwork I created after having my first child. Painted while I was deep in the raw, beautiful, and overwhelming depths of early motherhood and postpartum, it reflects the swirl of emotions I was learning to navigate: love, exhaustion, identity, and transformation. Every brushstroke is a memory of dining myself again while embracing a new version of who I am.
